Bibliotherapy: Communication
What is Bibliotherapy?
Books heal. And the right book at the right time can be just the tonic you need to help tide you over life's challenges. That is the premise of bibliotherapy. Whether you're dealing with a relationship issue, stress at work, a career transition, or a health problem, to name just a few situations that cause stress, there is a novel that can help you. But with millions of titles out there, where do you begin?
Other inclusions:
- 1 Session of Bibliotherapy with Bhakti Mathur
- 1 x $500 Bookazine Social voucher
What happens in a bibliotherapy session?
- Bhakti will send you a questionnaire to understand your reading habits and what's happening in your life right now, the big and the small.
- This will be followed by a 30-minute one-on-one consultation.
- After that, Bhakti will send you a prescribed reading list.
About Bhakti
That's where Bhakti comes in. Bhakti is Hong Kong's first bibliotherapist. An ex-banker turned children's book author (21 published titles to date), freelance journalist (writes for the SCMP on life, health, and fitness), and ICF credentialled executive coach (PCC) and yoga teacher; bibliotherapy is Bhakti's response to combining her passions: helping people navigate and enrich life's journey through storytelling. Regardless of the challenges you currently face in your life, the right book will offer solutions to help make it better.
