Author:

Emma Pei Yin is an accomplished Australian-Hong Kong Chinese writer and editor. Her work has appeared in esteemed publications such as Mekong Review, Being Asian Australian, The Hong Kong Review, and Books+Publishing. In 2023, her young adult manuscript, "Chasing Echoes in the Rain," earned a spot on the shortlist for the Allen & Unwin Voices from the Intersection Mentorship Programme. "When Sleeping Women Wake" is her first novel.

 

Moderator:

Julia Besnard is a librarian and creative writer who has called Hong Kong home for 10 years. She is the producer and host of the Hong Kong Lit Club podcast, which delves deep into the work of Hong Kong writers. You can listen to Hong Kong Lit Club on RSSSpotifyApple Podcasts, and Castbox.
