Chinese Temples of Hong Kong

Chinese Temples of Hong Kong is the second book of paintings by local artist Mark Talbot Roberts.

This book, which contains more than 90 paintings of Chinese temples,  pays tribute to the traditional Taoist and Buddhist beliefs of the majority of Chinese people, who inhabit the artist’s adopted home.

There are more than six hundred Chinese temples scattered the width and length of Hong Kong, each of which portrays its own unique history and culture. There is a huge diversity of temples, with some being very large and extremely well decorated whilst others are small and unassuming.
