Light is omnipresent, a constant in nature. It is a powerful energy, both literally and figuratively. Carlo Yuen invites you to experience his light-chasing adventure across Hong Kong and how light embodies hope, a positive energy that fuels us all.
Checking and interpreting the weather data has become an integral part of Carlo's daily routine. As a landscape photographer, weather is an indispensable element in his work. It affects how light is cast upon my subjects, be it the towering concrete columns at the heart of the city or the prehistoric hexagonal rock columns farther away from the hustle bustle. Acclaimed as the Weatherman, Carlo is best known for being able to forecast the rarest combinations of weather conditions and capture these elusive moments.
Carlo’s captured images have won numerous awards in various international photography contests in successive years.
