A real Christmas treat! The classic card game of Spoons with a festive twist. Instead of the traditional cards and spoons, players need to collect four cards with matching Christmas jumpers, then rushing to grab a striped wooden candy cane to stay in for the next round. A fast-paced, ultra-competitive family game that's not just for Christmas!The aim of this game is to collect four of a kind and to be the last player not eliminated.Set up, select a dealer, the dealer then shuffles and deals out four cards to each player who may look at their cards, the rest of the cards are placed face down to the right of the dealer. The dealer also places the candy canes in the middle of the table. There should always be one less candy cane than the number of players for each round.The dealer kicks off the game by picking up a card from the deck, they can look at the card and decide whether to keep it to help them get four of a kind or pass on. If they decide to keep it, they must discard another card. The discarded card is passed straight to the player on their left. The player on their left can then either decide to keep it or discard it themselves and pass to the left again and so on.Once the dealer has discarded their first card, they then pick up another card from the deck so there are multiple pick-ups and discards happening at the same time.The first person to get four of a kind (eg. four 10s) rushes to grab a candy cane from the centre of the table and every player as soon as they notice must do the same. The person left at the end without a candy cane is eliminated from the next round. Rounds continue until there is only one person left - the winner! For ages 6+ years. 2 + player.
