Gearge sits down to eat his dinner as Bartholomew watches. When he finishes his dinner he brings in a delicious honey cake with pink icing. He eats a slice and then takes the cake away again. Bartholomew thinks about this and then sits down and eats his dinner, after which George gives him a slice of cake. This is one of a series of books on toddler life featuring George and Bartholomew. The others are "On Your Potty!" and "Get Into Bed!". Virginia Miller has also written "Squeak-A-Lot" (runner-up for the 1991 Mother Goose Award) and "Sailor Bear".
